Q: Who is eligible?
A: Married couples for whom both spouses are both at least 18 years old and can both read/speak English fluently. Given broader study goals, female participants must also be less than 40 years old.

Q: I'm engaged but not yet married- can I still sign up?
A: At this time we are no longer able to recruit engaged couples, unless you will be married this Summer and are able to begin your participation before the end of July.
Q: Can I participate without my partner?
A: This is a couples project, meaning that both members of the couple need to be willing to participate.
A: No, we welcome couples of all kinds! That will help ensure our study findings are representative of people in general.
Q: Is this study only for heterosexual couples?
Q: Do we have to participate in person?
A: No, as of June 2024 we have moved all of our project procedures online. Instead of an in-person session on OSU's campus, you will meet (briefly) with a member of our project team to discuss the next phases of the project.
